Nixon showed why he was a good Lawyer: he seemed to believe the the story he made up, and was sorry that he "botched" the handling of Watergate (and got caught). He got choked up and couldn't look the camera in the eye or Frost. He was sad that he didn't save his buddies. I think everyone should watch the interviews to get insight on how people like that think. That group includes the Bankers, Corporations, PR/advertising and so called politicians that will do or say anything to get what they want. Of course, it's always at our expense. They don't make"honest" mistakes. Did you know that Cheney and Rove were there back then and learned to CYA from the start so they wouldn't pull a "Nixon".
